The Leadership Fremont County Leadership Award was created as a means of publicly recognizing exemplary leadership in Fremont County.  It is hoped that recognizing a leader within the Fremont County area will encourage new leaders to pick up where previous leaders have left off.

This Leadership Award is an annual award of Leadership Fremont County that recognizes a Fremont County citizen for the visionary leadership, commitment and dedication to the people of his or her community, and to an individual who extends leadership values throughout the community. New recipients will be awarded each year in the early summer as a part of the Leadership program’s commencement exercises.

Leadership Fremont County has completed ten years of operation in its effort to develop and facilitate the civic involvement of the leadership in Fremont County.  Approximately 170 of the County’s emerging leaders have undergone the year-long curriculum to become a Leadership Fremont County alumnus.
